blue gem

So I picked up rune edge last night. Wondering what i should stick in the blue slot, it's been forever since i needed to mess with any gems. I'm short a bit of hit rating so iw as thinking hit/stam, i just hate useless stats.
what do you guys think?

Rune Edge doesn't have any gem slots... *confused*

Enchant it with Accuracy then gem it for what else you need, that would be my way to go. How short on +hit are you?

Crit is always good, unless you're at silly levels where it might make more sense to go fo AP + MP5 or forget the gem slot bonus and whack a 32AP red gem in there or better.

There is no socket, blue or otherwise, on the sword. Accuracy is an enchant for a 1h -- a 2h as good as the Rune Edge deserves a 2h enchant like Massacre.

Stil reasonable itemization on a 2h though.

Zos are you refering to your pants? The +6 agi is worth it to consider oranges agi/app + stam/mp5 any combination wouldn't be bad.

apologies, i was very tired post raid and buzzed about getting rune edge. the blue slot was actually in some pants from razorscale

Well if you havent used any yellow gems (which is rare), then a green hit/stam gem will cover both your blue and yellow requirement for the Meta and give you the socket bonus in a blue slot. If you're hit capped, a Shifting Twilight Opal is your best bet for blue slots.

If hit capped, I'd suggest that an enchanted tear is your best way to satisfy a blue metagem requirement.

I just use one enchanted tear and stuff the rest with agi. Well I stopped doing that when I went JC, but that is what I'm likely to do again.
