Zul'Aman Beasts!

New tameable beasts in 2.3:

Zul'Aman
Amani Elder Lynx - LV70+ elite (tan lynx), no skills, immune to freeze trap, immune to sleep
Amani Lynx Cub - LV70 (tan mountain lion), no skills
Amani Crocolisk - LV70 (dark green crocolisk), no skills, immune to freze trap
Tamed Amani Crocolisk - LV70+ elite (light green crocolisk), no skills
Amani Lynx - LV70+ elite (tan lynx), no skills, can be slept

Dustwallow Marsh
Noxious Flayer LV35-36 (green wind serpent), Dive 1
Noxious Reaver LV37-38 (green wind serpent), Dive 1, Lightning Breath 4
Noxious Shredder LV38-39 (green wind serpent), Dive 1, Lightning Breath 4
Goreclaw the Ravenous LV39 (olive/purple raptor), no skills

Untameable:

Zul'Aman
Amani Dragonhawk - LV70+ elite (gold/red dragonhawk)
Amani Bear - LV70+ elite (new model, looks like the bear mount)
Amani Eagle - LV70+ elite (new model, cross between owl and... carrion bird maybe)
Amani Dragonhawk Hatchling - LV70 (gold/red dragonhawk)
Spirit of Halazzi - sub-boss (red lynx)
Slither - sub-boss (white serpent)

Also, looks like there are some beasts missing from Dustwallow Marsh. The Darkmist Lurker, one of the yellow & green widow spiders, are no longer anywhere in Darkmist Cavern. The bazillion gray turtles (Mudrock Tortoise, Spikeshell, Burrower, Snapjaw and Borer) ranging in levels 36-43 are gone now too - only the Mudrock Spikeshell remains and they had their level lowered to 35-36.

Wooters!

Now if they'd just give bears a good mana dump ...

Looks good but most likely they will make the bears untameable live; knowing Blizz.

Different from those black, raven like, birds in the Bladestone Mountains?

...and why do I always read Armani...

i know this isn't the right thread to ask, but since you're already on PTR, Fritti, have you done any test on this "pet tries to move behind target" thing?
making this work automatically seems really dicey to me, for situations where the pet is supposed to tank, and to bosses like VR who turns about all the time to spew out the arcane orbs.

Aspect of the Viper(patch 4.8)
The hunter takes on the aspects of a viper, regenerating mana equal to up to 39% of his or her Intellect plus 24% of his or her level every 5 sec, minus 44% of the product of his or her height multiplied by his or her IQ rating, divided by the root of 85% of his or her whine posts on blizzard forums, to the power of 13% of his or her ambition to top the damage meters. Only one Aspect can be active

I haven't, not yet. Yesterday was spent with 2 friends inching around the zone and doing exploring only. We're going today with my normal Kara raid group to give the zone a real try and I'll post what I observe. I'm keeping the bear for now, which should make it easy to see how it tries to position itself.
